I can haz new post??

Ok so admittedly i have been slacking on the blog front. Work has been hectic to say the least as my lovely boss decided to quit so i have been manning the shop on my own.......a shop full of shoes and yet i'm unhappy, what's wrong with me? So i did what any reasonable female does to cheer herself up and bought a new pair of shoes :) I shall post a new pic of them tomorrow.

I also rediscovered this website which has put a brief smile back on my face in the past few days. Here are some of my faves.

shoes = happiness

So today i was bored and i tidied the spare room. Whilst i was at it i thought i would sort out my shoe collection. This is a small portion of it, the rest is still at my parents as my room can't hold them all.

Whilst sorting out my shoes i discovered 4 odd shoes.........i wonder where the partners have gone? I'm trying not to panic yet but if i don't find them soon i will just have to go out and buy replacements!

I also went on holiday up north to visit some friends last week. It was so good to get away from work and home for a while. I was also amazed it stayed nice and warm! We went to the beach on sunday where one of my friends dunked me in the north sea.....not so warm.

Polyvore i LOVE you

Oh how i love polyvore, the latest of my on-line obsessions. I use the excuse that i have a degree in fashion design and therefore i NEED to keep up with the trends, hee hee. Secretly though i just LOVE wasting time putting together outfits that i will never be able to afford. Here's one i made earlier

Treasury Time

Yay i've been featured in another Etsy treasury. Many thanks to yipestoo who has included me in this beautiful vintage treasury . It also features one of my hearted items so i may have to buy it fast!

In other news i viewed a flat today as i have to move out of my current home. It's a long story but basically i live next to the worst pub in Scotland and i've got nothing but trouble every weekend from them so i need to move. The flat is in a great location, is almost £200 CHEAPER than what i pay now but it is absolutely tiny.

I am trying to weigh up the pro's and con's but i need to be quick. I like my space though. Bummer. Plus it's got to accomodate this wee devil

Fun Times

The sun has been shining here in the Scottish borders for a good week or so now and it is amazing how much happier the customers are at my work now we have nice weather. There's only so much rain people can take before it gets on your nerves and frankly i was ready to emigrate!

So apart from enjoying the sunshine i went to a local sunday market and found this which is now in my living room:

It's a photograph from the 1920s of John Knox House in Edinburgh. I love it, a little bit of Edinburgh in my wee house in Peebles. Makes me want to go home more often!

I also recieved this AMAZING goodie selection from fellow etsy seller AuntChilada this morning in the post. Another fabby snack exchange!

Another day, another pair of shoes

In case you hadn't noticed already i have a bit of a shoe addiction. I really didn't need this pair but i just couldn't leave them on the shelf could i?

The weather here is beautiful just now, last time i checked it was 23 degrees! Not bad for the Scottish borders so i will be wearing these mules asap.

I also found this pair last time i cleaned out my wardrobe (spare room) I forgot i even had them!

Isn't the detail on them amazing? Have a lovely day folks, hope the sun is shining where you are!

This morning i woke up by the postie who had this package of yummyness to give me from a friend:

I sometimes do snack food exchanges with penpals. I have done them to japan, france and the US, if anyone is interested in trading some sweets then let me know. It's always fun opening the parcel, wondering what's inside!!

Shoes, i heart you.

I can't resist buying a cute pair of shoes. I must have over 100 pairs now and as i work in a shoe shop and get a good discount, i can't see it slowing down anytime soon. These are the latest addition to the family:

I love them already. Today was so lovely and sunny so hopefully i will get a lot of wear from them soon!

cakes and post

I have the most amazing wee shop next to my work that sells all sorts of fantabulous goodies that i can never resist. So on my lunch hour yesterday i got this little cutie:

All i need now are some fabby cakes to go on it! I have a recipe for a plum and almond tart i think i will try so i will post the aftermath tomorrow. Another exciting thing today was finding this behind my door when i got in from work:

Unfortunately i'll have to wait until monday now to find out what goodies are waiting for me! I bought some burlap tumblers and a gorgeous pink bracelet from ETSY a few weeks ago so fingers crossed it's one of them!

Also i want to say a big thank you to my friend zoe who featured me on her blog She is one crazy lady but she's the best!

Well zoe, this first blogs for you! I have been hounded into making a blog by one of my lovely but ever so crazy friends so here it is.
This weekend was great. I spent the day going round the local sunday market hunting for some yummy goodies and some sparkly things for my ETSY shop...........and sparkly i found!
